To an ever greater extent, quality is becoming a decisive success factor. The recent past has made it impressively apparent: Regardless of whether the economy is in an upswing or a downswing, quality products are always in demand, and are preferred in particular during economically difficult times. For this reason, investments in quality assurance always pay off. Quality at all steps of the production process is absolutely essential for companies who want to be at the forefront in global competition.
CONTROL 2010: Perceptible Market Stimulation
20,369 expert visitors from all over the world – which corresponds to 8% growth in comparison with 2009 – gathered information at CONTROL 2010 regarding all QA relevant technologies, products and subsystems, as well as complete hardware and software solutions. Right from the very first day of the event, the 837 exhibitors from a total of 28 countries registered lively, and above all concrete interest for products, as well as detail and system solutions, so that both manufacturers and dealers were very confident at the end of the trade fair, and are expecting good to very good post-event business (see also “2010 exhibitor statements”). A multitude of innovations and highly practical components and equipment for measuring technology, materials testing, analysis technology and optoelectronics, as well as for QA systems and QA organisation, were presented on more than 570,000 square feet of overall exhibition floor space.
CONTROL 2011: Quality Shapes the Future
In particular now that the crisis-plagued economic is plainly recovering, it’s extremely important for suppliers of quality assurance products and services to demonstrate presence in order to gain and secure market shares. This is the ideal time for users to further invest in the quality of their products in order to be able to convince existing regular customers of their capabilities in the future as well, and to win over potential new customers. The CONTROL anniversary event in 2011 offers both interest groups an ideal platform at precisely the right time. In addition to this, the innovative, world-class supplementary programme will generate enormous additional benefits for all involved parties. Amongst other features it will include a special show entitled “Contactless Measuring Technology” promoted by the Fraunhofer Vision Alliance, the Event Forum offered by the Fraunhofer IPA, a theme park for “Quality Assurance in Medical Engineering” and other focal points with regard to pioneering developments.
