Fraunhofer Vision presents solutions for machine vision in the field of quality assurance, as well as a special show entitled “Contactless Measuring Technology”, at CONTROL 2009.
Fraunhofer Vision from Erlangen is once again participating with great commitment at the upcoming CONTROL, international trade fair for quality assurance, and is providing information in advance regarding planned exhibits and activities. Fraunhofer Vision will present quality assurance solutions for solar and wind energy at their booth (pavilion 1, booth 1502) with non-destructive measuring and test methods, by means of which sustainable, economic operation of regenerative energy recovery systems can be achieved.
A further focal point will cover test systems which look into the parts’ interior and detect defects which are not externally visible, or measure and reconstruct the interior of the material itself. Various test technologies are used to this end, depending upon the application – from X-ray and computer tomography right on up to terahertz metrology and tomography for non-destructive inspection of components.
In the field of optical 3D measuring technology and surface inspection, emphasis will be placed upon integration of the required systems for use within the manufacturing process, and a combination of both test methods.
Fraunhofer Vision will also present the special show entitled “Contactless Measuring Technology” at the upcoming CONTROL (pavilion 1, booth 1612).
