CONTROL 2009 – Quality is Always in Demand!   Control 09 PI02 engl_internet.doc (58.5 KB)

CONTROL 2009 – Quality is Always in Demand!

More than 850 Exhibitors from 24 Countries, More than 590,000 Square Feet of Overall Exhibition Floor Space, Pavilions 1, 3, 5 and 7 Entirely Booked Out – the 23rd CONTROL or: Market Potential is Always Available!
Emerging from the economic low-point by consistently acting in a forward looking manner – one gains new market shares during bad times, and profits from the competitive edge which is honed during good times! This also appears to be the maxim of the more than 850 exhibitors who are currently registered to participate at the 23rd CONTROL international trade fair for quality assurance. Alone the number of exhibitors, as well as the 590,000 square feet of reserved floor space, make it unmistakably clear that the QA industry has long since recognised the sign of the times and is seeking out its market!

More than 850 Exhibitors from 24 Countries

Not only the numerous returning and first-time exhibitors, but rather institutions associated with the industry as well, are all joining forces so that the 23rd CONTROL will be able to present a comprehensive supplementary programme which will be a great credit to the world’s leading trade fair for quality assurance. Practical subject matter covering vision systems and image processing offered in a highly concentrated format at special shows organised by the Fraunhofer Vision Alliance deserve particular attention, as does the complementary Event Forum which will be held by the IPA Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and Automation in Stuttgart regarding the issue of 3D image processing in measuring and test technology.

Supplementary Programme with Many Highlights

Beyond this, the DGQ and the TQU will again offer their consistently world-class technical seminars, and many of the exhibitors will also present their companies at the once again fully booked out exhibitor forum. Not least of all, this interdisciplinary but nevertheless well focused view, which goes above and beyond the industry’s customary horizons, will open up new perspectives for QA users for further sharpening their competitive edge – because top quality is always in demand, but must be produced efficiently and economically in times when cost savings are essential.

QS Automation for More Productivity

The fact that efficiency is increased and losses are reduced by means of optimised processes is a welcome side effect of improved quality. Particularly in light of the fact that the 23rd CONTROL will present QA automation solutions to a greater extent than before, which makes it possible to organise quality assurance more economically in all areas of production. Seen from this viewpoint, there’s still remaining business potential in the extremely shaken automotive sector, because automated inspection, test and measuring technology can help to further reduce production costs.

23rd CONTROL – Worldwide Offerings for Quality Assurance

The 23rd CONTROL international trade fair for quality assurance will open its doors on the 5th of May, and will continue through the 8th of May, 2009. With exhibitors from 24 countries, including Germany which traditionally has the largest share, and due to the fact that all of the market and technology leaders will once again be on hand, only CONTROL 2009 covers all worldwide offerings for QA technologies, products, subsystems and complete solutions for the entire process sequence. And thus CONTROL takes its stance as a highly reliable magnitude – for manufacturers and suppliers, as well as for the customers.
